Torrelongares Tinto Syrah

Tasting note

Very intense purple red color with blue shades. It presents an aroma of black fruits, blackberries, plums and licorice. In the mouth, it is a fresh and balsamic wine, well structured and with a balanced acidity.


100% Syrah

Type of cultivation

Lots cultivated on trellises with a cultivation background of 3 x 1,5 m., in the Cariñena Designation of Origin, at a height of between 500 and 800 m.

Wine making

Grapes are harvested with machines at the optimal maturation time during the first two weeks in September. They are quickly transferred to the wine cellar in order to avoid any oxidation, they are destemmed and put in stainless steel deposits in order to carry the alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 25º C during 15 days. At the end of the fermentation process and after the 7 day maceration process, they are put in the barrels. We only use wine coming from the bleeding – out process and once the malolactic fermentation finished, the  wine is clarified, filtered and bottled according to the most strict hygienic conditions.


In a 75 cl. Bordeaux kind of bottle.


It combines with stewed, grilled and roasted meat, birds and cold cured meat as Iberian ham or smoked meat.
