Aragon Abbey Tinto
Powerful terracotta red color. Fine and elegant aroma, with an obvious presence of red fruits. Full – bodied and tasteful in the mouth. It presents a wide variety of sugar and raspberry tones. Wine with structure, fleshy and balanced.
Bush – trained lots with a growing background of 2,2 x 2,2 m, raised in non – irrigated land and with an age over 30 years, in the Cariñena Designation of Origin, at an average height of 600 m.
The grapes are harvested with our own hands at the optimal maturation time during the first two weeks in September. Grapes are destemmed and put in deposits made of stainless steel in order to carry out the alcoholic fermentation process at a controlled temperature (around 26º C) during 10 days in order to achieve the characteristic varietal feature. Once finished, and after a 7 day maceration, we take it out from the barrel. We only use the wine coming from the bleeding – out process and once the malolactic fermentation, the wine is clarified and bottled according to the most strict hygienic conditions.

To enjoy with pastries, soft and cured cheese, as well as vegetables, grilled and roasted meat, fatty and river fish.
