Marquis of Somera Tinto Reserva
Red cherry color with tile shades. Strong and complex aroma where dark fruits such as picota cherry or blueberries are in harmony with toasted aromas and species. In the mouth, it presents silky tannins, full – bodied wine, well structured and with volume and long step.
Garnacha and Tempranillo
Lots selected and bush – trained with a growing background of 2,2 x 2,2 m., grown in dry land and with an age over 30 years in the case of the Garnacha and 20 for the Tempranill, in the Cariñena Designation of Origin, at an average height of 650 m.
The grapes belonging to each variety are harvested separate, with our own hands, at the optimal maturation time, in the case of the Tempranillo during the first two weeks in September and for the Garnacha during the second two weeks in September. Grapes are destemmed and put into stainless steel deposits in order to carry out the alcoholic fermentation process at a temperature of 26º C during 20 days. Once finished, and regarding the wine coming from the bleeding- out process, we proceed with the malolactic fermentation, afterwards, it is put into barrels made of French and American oak during 12 months. Then, they are bottled according to the most strict hygienic conditions, it remains during the aging period in the bottles ever since.
In a 75 cl.and 150 cl. Bordeaux kind of bottle.
To enjoy with roasted lamb, pig, or buoy, red or grilled meat.
Game hunting (deer, wild boar, roe deer) and determined species of game hunting and game birds like the duck.
Vegetables and stewed meat. Blue and cured cheese.
